Top 5 Co-op Games on iOS in South Africa: Q3 2021 Performance

In the third quarter of 2021, the top five co-op games on iOS in South Africa showed diverse performance trends in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. This data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides insights into the market dynamics of these popular games.

Call of Duty®: Mobile experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $12.7K in the week of August 23rd. Weekly downloads saw a decline from 2.8K at the beginning of the quarter to around 2K by the end. Active users showed a slight decrease from 28.9K to 25.7K over the same period.

Roblox maintained a consistent revenue stream, with weekly revenue rising from $19.4K in late June to about $23.4K by the end of September. Downloads fluctuated, starting at 2.8K and ending at 2K. The active user base saw a gradual decline from 41.9K to 38.9K.

Evony showed significant revenue spikes, particularly in mid-July with $11.7K and again in late September with $9.8K. Downloads decreased from 2.5K to around 1.1K by the end of the quarter. Active users also saw a drop from 4.9K to approximately 3.1K.

Among Us! had modest revenue, peaking at $143 in mid-September. Downloads started at 1.8K and ended at around 1.4K. Active users saw a decline from 13.9K to approximately 10.5K by the end of September.
